Dominant to Dominant and House Interactions
In the recent proposal for the Houses we tried to differentiate between what we do in the club and what we do in the houses. This notice will expand on that concept. The money we make comes from the club, the girls and the dominants, and we need to be sure that we have happy girls and dominants ready to serve customers.
The houses allow you to practice your style, to set whatever rules you want for interactions between your dominants and between your dominants and slaves. If you want a strict hierarchy where titles are ultimately what matters and a Dominatrix or slave will meekly submit to you without question, do that in your house. Work together to make these determinations, share the decisions and the load; new recruits will be joining at all times of the day and night and you will want to have someone available, dominant or slave who knows what to do. Your style and how rigid or relaxed it is, is your decision. These differences are why there has to be a different relationship in the club. All of the styles mingle there; by giving you the houses we allow you to practice the style of BDSM you want. In the club, we need you to operate as managers and whores. The relationship between the different ranks of dominants from other houses has to be that of mentorship; helpful co-operation…EQUALS. For some of you this will seem wrong-headed, a failure to recognize the ranks. Regardless please collaborate to make the best decision, junior people - accept the advice of those more experienced at Toys, senior people - listen to input from everyone. Most decisions won’t require discussion, but remember, in the club only Madame can ultimately say, “I don’t care what you think, this is how we are going to do this.” Even she does that rarely. We need respectful communication; educate instead of command; ask instead of demand; problem solving not drama. Some of you seem to need the conflict that comes with ordering a strong dominant personality around, we have no quarrel with that. If that’s your style, join a house that supports that style, and then practice it anywhere you wish but between consenting members of the same house. Be respectful and thoughtful in your interactions with dominants from other houses.
Similarly, when you deal with the girls; pay attention to the girl’s style, Soon we will have the house designation to check, that will give you a pretty good idea of what will be unacceptable to the girl. Remember, this is in the club, neutral territory, where moderate behaviour is the rule. You can set your own special rules within your own house and treat them in the way that you have created for your house. As always communication is going to be the key, but even then, much of what we do in the club is play acting for the benefit of our guests.
Currently there are tensions in the relationships; there always are when change is underway. Think before you speak; is this a battle you really need to fight? take a moment to decide, count to 100 if you want, walk away, cool off. If you decide to carry on, be smart about it, use these guidelines WIN - WIN Conflict Resolution If after that you still cannot resolve it, take it to a Madame. Bring along the log of your attempt to resolve it. By bringing it forward you are admitting that you cannot resolve it and agreeing that the decision of the Madame will be final and binding on you both. Banning from Sim/Property, Muting, UnfriendingBanning, muting, unfriending are poor options, they mean you have failed. Banning of other Toys is not allowed; muting if used is for very short periods of time, no more than a day, just so you can cool off. Muting compromises our ability to do the job well. You completely cut yourself off, not the other way around. Respect other's property
Except in very limited circumstance where it is necessary to protect the property or the girls, only Madame Aprille has the authority to eject a member of Toy Slaves from the group or have a member banned from a part of the Sim; no matter what the name on the plot, all areas on the 4 sims are ultimately paid for by Toy Slaves and are Madame's property
Dealing With the Other HousesDominants from other houses are equals inside the club, it is neutralground. Girls from other houses, will be treated moderately. I think we need to come up with some accepted correction practices in the club; things that we can all agree are not attacks. Initially, let’s use the suggestions from the Dominant Manual, the correction cards and moderate punishments that entertain in the club. If there are disputes over a particular punishment, discuss it and we’ll determine what would be acceptable and include it in the recommendations going forward.
A degree of competition is expected but, during this initial period, let's avoid slagging another house, even in fun. There's work to do.
Recruiting for Your HousePut your effort into getting the house established first. There should be consultations with the other dominants on your House roster. The groups have been set up and most of the Dominants already invited. If you’ve been missed speak to one of the gatekeepers for your house (probably any house dominant) and ask for an invite. The groups will allow you to have private discussions and exchange information about things pertaining to your house.
One of the reasons behind establishing the houses, beyond providing this ability to cater to different styles was to help us get a better retention rate for new graduates. It will hopefully provide a place for them to belong, a real live person for them to talk to after their hours of automated testing and training. Hopefully it will make them feel welcome at Toys. Your welcoming committee is expected to be not only the dominants but the girl’s new sisters too; the Houses area in training is expected to have a way (still under discussion) of showing who from your house is online.
The principle source of people for the houses was always expected to be new graduates, get ready to receive them.
Some suggestions:1) What will you do when they IM you?2) What initial training will you give them?3) How will they be different?4) How will they be the same? The information about the houses is currently posted throughout the sim, backstage, training centre and Toys Family. Existing girls will choose when they are ready, don't fret about it, few have chosen already. We are not trying to control where they choose, we hope they will try more than one house, but, it isn't important.
Make the Girls the FocusWant to have a BDSM role-play, use a girl. Communicate with her. Simple things like leashing her and talking to her, don’t forget listening too. The banter that is going on in Toy Slaves group is great, keep it up and participate in it. It makes the hours go fast and builds our team. At the same time don't lose sight of the guests in local chat, greet, tease and invite them in for some fun.
